Shoutcast-- The most comprehensive listing of streaming audio on the web. Find any format at multiple speeds. You'll need WinAmp (Windows) or Audion (Mac) or some other app that handles streaming content.

Static Radio -- Alum Bob LeMent's original comedy radio page. He's been begging me for months to add this link...if he only knew that the only reason it took this long is because I've been incredibly lazy updating the site!

Fufkin.com -- Dedicated to the majesty of pop music (the good kind: Beatles, XTC, etc.) featuring reviews of cool new bands you need to know about and lots more. Alum Mike Bennett writes for them too! Check out his "Mix CD of the Month" feature and submit your own!

Salon.com-- No, this isn't a site for hair stylists. It IS a phenomenal on-line magazine, which has recently posted numerous in-depth articles concerning why commercial radio sucks and the evil empire ClearChannel. Lots to read here regardless of your interests.

The Smoking Gun -- How this guy gets copies of all these legal documents has got to be something of legend. Or just well-written, polite requests. Check out the "banned vanity license plate" lists and the concert rider excerpts! Great stuff here.

NME.com-- The online presence of the UK music magazine that Rolling Stone will never be. Lots of great stuff including streaming audio and video.

Pitchfork Media-- A comprehensive alternative music review site. Often very opinionated, you will still find lots of independent reviews of all the latest releases by tons of bands you need to know about and some you don't.

Limewire-- Napster is toast, but Limewire picks up the slack as the most comprehensive app for accessing the Gnutella network.

Radio-Info-- The strength of this site is its many message boards that cover radio by city.

Radio KRUD -- From Kevin L., a well-organized, insightful and funny site that slams the industry we love to hate.

The Ultimate Band List -- Looking for info on a band? This is the place.

The Internet Music Wantlists -- A great page to buy and sell hard-to-find vinyl and CDs.

Reel Radio -- From Todd Cave, this site has streaming audio clips of famous and not-so-famous DJs from across the country and spanning the decades. Also has old jingle packages. Very cool!

Death to Spam -- A helpful guide to dealing with this e-mail menace. Highly recommended! When applied properly, this stuff works!

ScanTips -- Got a scanner? Here's an awesome primer to make the most of it.

Bring in the Noise! -- A well-written multi-platform computer audio column; with archives.
